“I have been seeing Dr Vivek Sharma at Zen Waves clinic for about 9 months, doing neurofeedback training for an anxiety disorder. I have found the training to be incredibly helpful, particularly in managing my chronic worrying and problems with sleeping. I now find myself worrying less, sleeping more and being able to manage and enjoy daily life. The initial brain mapping was insightful, allowing Dr Sharma to explain to me what the current problems were and how they could be overcome with neurofeedback training. After having this problem for many years and speaking to many professionals, I’m very glad to have been referred to Dr Sharma at Zen Waves.”
Psychiatrists do more than simply prescribe drugs. At ZenWaves we practise holistic psychiatry, more formally known as integrative psychiatry.
What if there was a way to train your brain into better habits just as you can train your body? There is! It’s called neurofeedback, and there’s plenty of research to show it works.

A holistic, integrative psychiatric approach may assist where more traditional methods have not worked for you.
At ZenWaves we treat every client individually, according to your needs. During an initial consultation, we focus on your personal medical history, including symptoms, past diagnoses and treatments. Based on this information, we recommend a personalised treatment plan for you, which includes one or more of nutrition and lifestyle changes, medication, supplements and neurofeedback.
Dr Dona Biswas, our principal psychiatrist, is a Fellow in Functional and Integrative Psychiatry (USA) and board certified in Neurofeedback. Our other founder, Dr Vivek Sharma, is board certified in Neurofeedback and a QEEG Diplomate.
We hold other qualifications and are active in professional associations related to integrative psychiatry and neurofeeedback. As part of our goal to treat you and every other client more effectively, with fewer side-effects, we keep up with and participate in neurofeedback and integrative psychiatry research.
